Hooah Jalapeno Pineapple Margarita - General's Hot Sauce

Hooah Jalapeno Pineapple Margarita
Since we have the Dead Red Bloody Mary for the hangover cure, we need a drink that’s worthy enough to earn you one in the first place. This drink is sweet, sour, spicy and stupendously superb.
INGREDIENTS
A high-quality tequila (Mezcal also pairs well with Hooah Jalapeno if you’re into the smokiness it brings.)
Hooah Jalapeno Hot Sauce
Cointreau, Grandma (Not YOUR grandma, Grand Marnier. Get with the times and leave MeeMaw out of this) or another premium orange liqueur of your choice.
Pineapple juice (Again, get the good stuff. No concentrate.)
Limes
Tajin (A Mexican spicy, citrusy, salty seasoning)
DIRECTIONS
First things first, cut a lime wedge and rub a little juice on the back of your hand. Stick some Tajin to it, take a shot of tequila, lick the Tajin off and bite your lime wedge. Might as well get the ball rolling while we work!

Pour some Hooah Jalapeno on one half of a plate and sprinkle some Tajin on the other side. Roll the rim of your glass through the Hooah Jalapeno puddle and repeat the same process with the Tajin.

Add a handful of ice, along with 2 oz of your tequila or mezcal, however much Hooah Jalapeno you want, 1 oz of your orange liqueur, 2 oz of the pineapple juice, and juice from half a lime to a shaker. Shake to mix and chill (the drink, you don’t get to chill until we’re done here). Strain into your glass and garnish with a lime wedge. Cutting up a pineapple just ain’t worth the work for a garnish in our opinion. We’re chillin’, not food bloggin’.
